Knowsley Housing Trust (KHT) which manages over 13,000 homes in Merseyside is looking into setting up a social enterprise to help managed the Government's Green Deal roll-out.

The Green Deal program is aimed at being introduced next year in which every home will be offered up to £10,000 to make energy efficiency measures by certified Green Deal provides.

The Social Enterprise would aim to manage the Green Deal programmes as well as provide job and training opportunities and helping to reduce energy bills for tenants.
